Product Technical Details
Gravel Ultra-High Performance:
Precision-built for riders who demand speed without hesitation. The Connector Speed represents the evolution of Goodyear’s Gravel Ultra-High Performance range, combining advanced construction processes with next-generation materials to deliver a lighter, more supple tyre engineered for racing and long-distance exploration. It’s designed to roll fast, respond instantly and maintain comfort when the kilometres start adding up.
At its core, the proprietary Dynamic: UHP compound provides ultra-low rolling resistance, confident grip and long-term durability — striking the balance competitive riders expect. The semi-slick tread profile maximises straight-line efficiency on hardpack and dirt roads, while maintaining dependable cornering control when the pace rises.
Construction: Tubeless Ready
Goodyear Bicycle Tyres’ proprietary design features a Tubeless Ready (TLR) tyre with additional air retention properties.
A Multi-compound material layer is added to the tyre casing, allowing for improved air retention while providing additional puncture and cut protection with minimal weight increase. Our unique design means more sealant remains after installation, ready for the moment you need it.
120-TPI casing:
Constructed with a high-thread-count 120 TPI nylon casing, the Connector Speed offers enhanced suppleness for improved ride feel and traction. Reinforced sidewalls increase overall strength by 67%, delivering added protection and stability without compromising speed — ideal for aggressive racing and demanding gravel routes.
Under-tread breaker belt:
R: Shield
This is an additional puncture protection under the tyre’s tread cap. Tyres utilising our R: Shield offer excellent puncture protection while their sidewalls remain supple to ensure high performance.
